This week starts off with a high energy and high intensity Moon in Aries, igniting our passions with aspects to both Mars and Pluto! Midweek, Venus comes into conjunction with Neptune, bringing a dreamy, compassionate energy to our closest relationships— facilitating romance, deep spiritual connection, understanding and forgiveness where it’s needed most. We’re still under a heavy Piscean influence throughout this week, making us more prone to fantasy and daydreaming, and with Mercury coming into a supportive aspect with Saturn, we are much better able to channel our dreams into reality.

Monday (2/19): No major planetary aspects. The Moon is transiting the fiery and willful sign of Aries throughout the day today, and in trine with Mars early this morning we’re off to an energetic start to our workweek! Later in the evening the Moon will make a challenging square to Pluto, shifting our mood a bit and lending more energy to suspicion, paranoia, fear and emotional intensity. People may be more prone to jump to conclusions, and with the Moon in the sign of aggression, tempers might be quick.
Tuesday (2/20): The Moon goes Void-of-Course in Aries at 4:11am MST, after making a conjunction to Uranus at the end degrees of Aries. This indicates the potential for unexpected changes to endeavors that began over the last couple of days while the Moon was transiting Aries.
At 12:12pm MST, the Moon enters it’s exaltation in the sign of Taurus, where it will make only favorable aspects throughout the day! This is an excellent energy for beginning a new project, especially one that delivers greater stability and more sustained, long-term results. Just be sure to stay grounded and realistic in your expectations for the outcome, as the Moon’s last aspect in this sign is an opposition to Jupiter on Thursday.
Wednesday (2/21): Venus in Pisces comes into a watery, romantic conjunction with mystical Neptune today, making us much more compassionate and idealistic in our relationships. While this conjunction can have a beautiful, dreamy feel, it can also blind us to the realities of our partnerships. New partnerships that begin under this influence are often followed to a period of disillusionment later on down the line once the veils drop and we’re able to see things more realistically once again. In general though, this influence is excellent for forming deep, spiritually satisfying bonds with the people we care about most as it allows us to become much more considerate of the perspective of others so we can see these relationships in a new, more forgiving light.
Mercury, newly transiting the sign of Pisces, makes it’s first aspect in a supportive sextile with Saturn in Capricorn today, an excellent energy to help ground us out of some of that watery, Piscean mental confusion and fog. In general, Mercury sextile Saturn is excellent for diligent mental work and communications with teachers, wise elders and other people in positions of authority. This aspect makes us much more discerning, and with Mercury in Pisces we can become much more able to translate our ideals into realistic plans under this influence. Today is a day for thinking that is both creative and precise, merging the practical with the fantastical.
Thursday (2/22): The Moon goes Void-of-Course in Gemini at 4:46am MST, and will remain VOC throughout most of the day until it enters the playful & inquisitive sign of Gemini at 5:07pm MST.
The moon is considered Void of Course (VOC) during the time between the moon’s last major aspect with another planet in its current sign and the moment it moves into the next sign. Because now is a time when the moon remains un-aspected, our inner world may become much more calm, quiet and clear. The VOC moon is a time when our intuition can become heightened as it is free from outside planetary influences; however, too much mental or physical activity at this time can distort our psychic senses and cause us to take wrong action. This is why when we take action or begin a new project during the VOC moon, things often don't pan out. Likewise, any thoughts we may have or worries we may hold on to are also unlikely to come to fruition and are merely serving as a distraction from the inner quiet brought on by the void. While the VOC moon is a fertile time for receiving insight and inspiration, now is not the time to act. In just a few hours, the moon will change signs, which will allow us to begin bringing to fruition whatever was seeded during this highly intuitive time of calm and contemplation.
