One-On-One Tutoring & Mentorship Process
Step 1: Choose a tutor and schedule your 1-1 Tutoring & Mentorship call.
Step 2: IMPORTANT: Check your inbox for your confirmation email. This is where you’ll find your intake form. (If you don’t see a confirmation email in your inbox within 15 minutes of booking your appointment, check your “Spam” folder and email us at [email protected] if the email isn’t there.)
Step 3: Fill out your Tutoring & Mentorship intake form, providing as much detail as possible about where you’re feeling stuck and your specific goals for your tutoring session. Your intake form is also where you can provide specific chart examples you want to go over and other relevant details about what you’d like to accomplish during your time with your tutor.
Step 4: Your tutor will begin work on creating a tailored-to-you lesson plan based on the information provided in your intake form!
Step 5: 48-hours before your live Tutoring & Mentorship session, your astrology tutor will email you a play-by-play of your lesson plan and any additional resources or birth charts you’ll need to review in preparation for your live call.
Step 6: Time for your live call! This is where you’ll receive expertly crafted guidance, feedback and support in real-time to get you “unstuck,” back on the right track and feeling confident with your interpretations and consultation skills!
Step 7: Log into your Student Library! This is where your tutor will upload the recording from your Tutoring & Mentorship session along with homework assignments and helpful supplemental resources to accelerate your learning even after your meeting with your tutor has ended.
Step 8: Follow-up with your tutor. One week after your call, your tutor will reach out to you to answer any follow-up questions you have.
Step 9: Move forward with confidence! Now that you’ve received a specialized lesson plan, additional demonstration, and plenty of time to practice giving readings while getting direct feedback from an experienced astrologer, never again will you feel confused about putting the pieces together or afraid of getting things “wrong” in your readings.

Hello, my name is Shanna Cross, and I have a deep passion for astrology and astronomy. As a Teaching Assistant at the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I've dedicated myself to mastering and teaching these subjects.Â
My incredible journey began in 2012 when I first immersed myself in the world of food at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition while simultaneously diving headfirst into the fascinating realm of astrology.
Throughout my journey, I've taken various online and live courses to expand my knowledge, but it was Heather Eland's Foundational Astrology Course that truly helped me synthesize everything I had learned. Since then, there has been no looking back!
Amidst all the chaos in 2020, I launched my personal reading business online. Before this, I had been practicing with clients in person and at events - an experience that I continue to enjoy.

Hi, my name is Jen Kinsella, and I am a Teaching Assistant in the Cosmic Academy of Astrology and a former graduate of the Academy.
I have always loved learning about astrology ever since I was a teenager. In 2012, I began a journey of self-discovery, and I leaned into learning more about tarot, oracle cards, energy work, and Akashic Records. Through this, I was led back to astrology in a more focused way. I took several courses, read all the books, and listened to all the podcasts I could find to try to really make sense of my birth chart in a cohesive way.
I began to study astrology more in-depth in 2018, and I found Heather’s YouTube channel in 2020 – just when I needed it! I joined the Cosmic Academy of Astrology in 2021, which pulled together all my prior knowledge and filled in the information I needed to give professional readings. I have been working as a professional astrologer since I graduated, and I love every second of it.
I have a pretty varied background with a BA in Social Care and a BSc in Digital Marketing, along with many years of being a body piercer and tattoo studio manager—but what really lights me up is to help people explore their natal charts to get a deeper understanding of themselves and to help support students with a passion for astrology to help them read charts confidently!
