“Before enrolling in the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I did level 1 astrology with another online school and ended up as a TA for 6 months with the school. But, I love Heather's teaching style and the content is amazing! I have learned so much more. I am consistently blown away with the amount of content Heather creates in the academy, in the cosmic community, and on IG. She's just THE best!

Hesitation hit because I was hoping that I wasn't going to be disappointed like I was with my prior astrology teacher. She was great at marketing and getting people enrolled, but lacked originality and the scripted way she taught was quite boring. But with my Mars in Gemini 9th house and lots of cardinal energy in my chart, I jumped in head first. Lol!

I had a beauty blog for a few years and decided to work with a branding expert to help me attract my ideal clients. During my session with her, she asked me what am I doing when I lose track of time...I forget to eat or go to the bathroom, what am I doing? I told her "looking at astrology charts, reading books on astrology, listening to astrology podcasts." She said, well then that's a part of your brand. I really loved the thoroughness of the course. The amount of information that was presented and broken down to be easily digested. The TA sessions and the community reading each other's charts. All were so important to help me learn! The course I took prior was more about memorizing and regurgitating the info. This one was hands-on and involved practical applications of learning how to translate the language of astrology.

Since completing the course, I’ve been giving readings to clients and friends. Do group workshops in a small live setting. Created a micro course. Am currently working on a podcast called Here for a Purpose, where I interview people who either work in the spiritual realm or have gone through a difficult life chapter. At the end of the interview I look at their chart to see how/why that life event unfolded and how it was meant to reroute them towards their purpose. Hoping to inspire people to know that they are here for a purpose too.

“I had a very basic understanding of everything. I learned bits and pieces from various sources and used astrology predominantly for New Moon circles I ran, prior to finding Heather’s Cosmic Academy of Astrology course.  

I had no hesitation in joining, the time was right. I had been introduced to Heather through Astrolada's site a couple of years ago and always resonated with her. I did a course on house rulerships with Lada (that was my introduction to astrology!!!) in 2018 but didn't know enough of the basics to understand it. Now that I have done this course I went back over all the houses and it makes so much more sense!!

I have often felt confused in life lacking direction. I wear so many hats in my career, I don't know who to be. I wanted to learn more about my soul journey, just as I am and not who I think I should be! I consider Heather very left-brained and I need this type of teacher in order to bring a foundational structure to astrology for me. I am very very drawn to archetypes and evolutionary astrology (I did an evolutionary astrology parenting course in 2020) but I had no foundation on which to base it. So I wanted to build a foundation.

I loved everything about the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, to be honest. I loved the structure of how it was taught. You got what you needed for where you were at, nothing more. This enabled me to build the foundation around the basics and grow from there. And then as my knowledge grew I went back to revisit the basics again! I loved the TA sessions too where I got to practice what I knew with everyone else. I even surprised myself at my last TA session with how much I could actually see in the chart. That made me very excited as I see the learning in action and know that if you do the work and stay focused you will get there even though at the beginning I felt lost with how to put things together and thought I would never get my head around anything!! The course is structured in such a way that makes me want to keep going and get better.

I am blown away by the way my knowledge and confidence have grown doing this course. I am now able to put a story together to make sense of birth charts for myself, and my family and to support my existing clients with another tool for transformation. I use like a soul map. As an example, I love how we can understand how different houses follow different houses e.g. you get married or go into business in the 7th so the next step is joint finances in the 8th. Because I do shamanic work I think my favourite houses are the 8th and the 12th!!! It just makes sense! Also, I just learned about solar returns for the first time last week ... OMG we should be taught this at school!

Currently, I am adding astrology to my tool kit to support my client's transformation. I am a shamanic practitioner/coach and find astrology a great way to support people understand their soul journey. I offer sessions where I do both an astrology/soul reading with a soul retrieval remedy. Thank you for this wonderful course!

My knowledge before the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I'd say was average or good. I had heard about astrology all my life as my mother and grandfather had studied it for a few years and often referred to it. Then, when the CAA started I had already been studying astrology for about 5 years, either on my own (with books, podcasts, or YouTube videos), with teachers (3 different ones, either via pre-recorded lectures, live private lectures or live group lectures), or via online conferences or group seminars. I liked to look at my Solar Return charts even if I wasn't able to fully make something of them. 

My biggest hesitation was that I was afraid of losing money if I didn't like the content or the way things were organized. But when I saw that I had the possibility to be reimbursed after a month if I wasn't happy, I decided to give it a try.

When I saw Heather's advertising on the Cosmic Academy and listened to her sales argument I realized that it was probably exactly what I needed at this time of my life: it made sense to learn seriously about astrology as I was passionate about it, I found that it fitted really well within my artist's life and completed it in some way, it made my future less uncertain if I was able to base my revenues on 2 sources instead of 1 very uncertain one. Also on a more practical level I had the means to afford it, the precious time to be able to do it seriously, and I certainly needed someone to help me put my knowledge in order. It all made sense really.

I love the way things are organized. The mix of pre-recorded and live sessions, the possibility to ask questions and have precise answers, our TAs unfailing support and encouragement, the forum and its practice readings and shared experiences, the lovely, friendly, fun, and yet perfectly professional atmosphere of the Academy overall and of the teachers' attitude in particular, the clarity of the explanations, the focus on what is important vs what is secondary... Haha, I could add layers :) If I compare it to past courses I've taken, I'd say that Heather's youth plays in her favor. She's from her time, and so are the TAs. The modernity of the Academy in every aspects is certainly a thing. Also, Heather's huge experience that we can feel. I started with Placidus, and I'm now happy with Whole Sign Houses for instance. I felt I could trust her experience in the matter and personal practice this year rather confirmed this.

As far as improvements in my knowledge go, fortunately, the course is not over yet as I don't feel trained enough in the field of predictions! However, I noticed in my last training how much more confident I felt, how I was able to structure the reading and keep it to 1h, select the important information to share and to even predict a few things for next year. The person was very happy at the end of it and spontaneously said she'd recommended me. For me too, I can see that I can decypher my upcoming Solar Return chart and it's so nice to be able to do so.

I intend to start an astrology business soon. I'm currently working on building my website, and I may have an Instagram account too one day!

“Before the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I was very much a novice. I understood only Sun sign, Rising, and Moon and the elements of the signs and how they do or don't interact.

My hesitation was due to my wallet, but Heather made it realistic for me to join, not $500 or $2k in one payment or more, like other noted astrologers.

At the time of enrollment, I did not like the direction my career and overall health were going and wanted something just for me to help me understand the transitions in myself and how they tie in with others. I wanted to find something that would allow me to get to know myself and other people better, deeper. I wanted a change in an entirely different direction.

I really enjoyed all of the course. The TA sessions are the most helpful. The biggest improvement since completing the course has been that I am starting to read people better not just family and friends. “Before the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I'd been dipping my toes in for a few years prior, but was struggling to really grasp the meanings of the signs, planets, houses & aspects. I went through a very bad breakup in September 2021. 3 days after my Solar Return in fact. I started throwing myself into astrology as a distraction and also to understand myself more.

However, I was hesitant about whether it would be worth the money.  I've never taken a course before. Was only learning through books and watching astrologers on YouTube. I did notice that I learned a lot from listening to Heather's YouTube videos, though. I liked the way she explained things. This prompted me to bite the bullet and sign up for her course.

I've never regretted it. My understanding of astrology has grown so much. Not only is Heather a fantastic teacher, but having the T.A's views on astrology in the study sessions is an added bonus.

I am struggling to fit the time in to doing readings while doing the course, so have decided to hold of on that part until I've completed the course. I am a lot more confident doing readings for friends and family now though.

“Prior to enrolling in the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, my knowledge was very basic. Mainly Sun sign information and what I'd read in horoscopes.

I've always been drawn to astrology and had so many questions that couldn't be answered. I wanted to learn how to read charts myself so I could use it for my own life. But, I was hesitant about the amount of information being provided and whether I could put it together.

What I loved about the course was that even though the level of detail was a lot, I really appreciated it. I have spoken to other people who have taken astrology courses with some "fancy" astrologers with large Instagram followers. They barely scratched the surface with their learnings. Heather's Virgo energy really ensured we were well-equipped and gave us confidence.  I'm feeling confident in giving natal chart readings. I know I have a lifetime of learning and there are still areas where I need support. But I feel I know the foundation and can keep adding to it.

Since completing the course, I'm using it for my own life. I'm giving readings and hope to start an astrology business. I'd like to look into learning Rectifications because many don't know their birth times. People who come from many Eastern countries don't have birth times in their charts and feel they can't gain value from a reading. I'd like to change that mindset. Astrology should be accessible to everyone.”

“Before enrolling in the course, I had studied independently since I was 12yrs. Uranus conjunct Sun in my fifth house of Sagittarius, I have always had a love and passion for all things celestial in my quest for understanding the bigger picture. I have always wanted to formally pursue a formal course of astrological study--literally what I had envisioned going to school for when I was 18, but this was discouraged at the time (definitely part of my nodal story).

My hesitations have always been support-based and financial. It seemed selfish before, but when I signed up for Heather's course timing was literally aligned...literally the day my north node conjunct transiting north node last February.

At the time I decided to enroll, I was between jobs sailing in the Keys, I had plenty of downtime to study and the under $100 monthly commitment to finance the course was within my budget. I basically had no excuse not to take the course. Hindsight has illuminated that I was experiencing a nodal return and it was a Uranian push in the right direction as my north node conjunct the transiting north node in my 10th house.

I loved the layout and how Heather has structured the course. I've done the extra reading too, and I really enjoyed Christopher Brennan's book and Astrology Podcasts. The format for the live classes is good for the most part, I enjoy the different teaching styles and when I can attend the class discussions as far as the Live TA and Q&A it's been very helpful. 

Since completing the course, I can cold read a chart now, which is very exciting! As far as personal growth, I've come leaps and bounds since I began. I have a higher mind's perspective having looked at my own nodal story and can understand some hard lessons I had around my Saturn return better. I've done more for my personal growth by studying my astrology chart, and previous eclipse transit charts.

Forming a study group with a couple of classmates, trading readings, and bouncing insights and revelations off of them has done more for my personal growth in the last year than I did in therapy for the last five years. 

Learning astrology is incredibly empowering and as a sailor myself, the analogy of a chart to a ship's wheel with an astrologer as the navigator at the helm makes all the practical sense to me. I have done a number of chart readings for friends and family and have gotten very positive feedback from everyone I have read for.

This course has given me a lot of knowledge and confidence with how it has been structured, starting with the foundations and dedicating serious time to each lesson while using the live class discussions and feedback from fellow classmates to pull it all together.

“I decided to enroll in the Cosmic Academy of Astrology because I don't love my job. I used to think I was helping people, but now I see that I work in an agency that holds people down under the guise of helping them, so I want to break free. I want to use tools like tarot and astrology to help people find their way back to themselves.

Before enrolling, I knew the basic zodiac signs and energies and the planets. That is about it. I knew a little bit about the houses and I knew signs in the same element were good to go, but I would not have known that was because they were in trine.

In theory, and in practice most of the time, I am very organized but that Gemini mercury opposite Uranus has me excited about the things I am passionate in (9th house Mercury) and 8th house Sun and Chiron conjunction and I was skipping around so so much. Before the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I had taken a few beginner's courses in 2018 and then spent time after that studying on my own. I watched YouTube videos, did another small course, read books, and soaked up as much as I could on my own. “For 2 years, I studied in Berlin with a master astrologer. Learning in the German language became harder the more the classes advanced. Then came lockdown and after the 2 years I realized that in spite of all the money I invested, I still felt foggy with the procedures. I searched and was led to register for Heather's classes.

“I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to follow the material provided and/or be able to time manage with other things that are going on in my daily life.

I love the structure of the course: how perfectly Heather put the material together to build layer upon a layer of knowledge but not in an overwhelming way. 

I love and very much appreciate the TA Session and also the Live sessions with Heather (even though I watch those from the recordings because the timing doesn't suit my time zone).

“I had only been studying for about a year, but mostly scattered materials and short classes here and there. I really was looking for something more rigorous and comprehensive, similar to a college course. I wanted to fully dive in and immerse myself in studying astrology. I came across Heather's YouTube channel, and purchased the electional astrology guide before enrolling in the CAA.

My only hesitations were on my own willpower to stick it through and really push myself to practice and learn the material. I devoted a minimum of 10 hours per week to studying which really helped.

“Prior to enrolling in the Cosmic Academy of Astrology, I was a beginner level student. I had never studied astrology but had watched YouTube videos.
