March 2022 Astro-Highlights: A shift towards the light!
Feb 28, 2022The month of March brings yet another dramatic shift in the energies! Changes are happening quickly now and the energy is quite palpable, turbulent yet simultaneously hopeful. There will most certainly be challenges in the days ahead especially at the start of the month, but this month marks a significant and symbolic shift toward the light time of the year as the Sun moves from Pisces to Aries, ushering in the Spring Equinox and marking the astrological new year!
This month we’ll also see one of the luckiest and most positive days of the year as the Sun transits Jupiter in Pisces, bringing with it a collective feeling of hope, compassion and optimism that, by contrast to the last few years, feels almost foreign.
March begins with an intense and MAGICAL New Moon in Pisces that peaks in a BEAUTIFUL Virgo Full Moon. The lunations of the month of March are among the most dynamic of the entire year, (with the exception of the eclipses,) both of which are activating the upcoming Jupiter/Neptune conjunction and making this a beautiful period for visualization, initiation and manifestation.
Shortly after the New Moon, Mars and Venus conjunct Pluto in Capricorn exactly within just a few hours of each other which indicates an intense period of combustible energy and very tangible challenge. Venus and Mars then move on to conjoin each other exactly again, but this time at 0° Aquarius, a sensitive degree, and the very same degree of the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in December of 2020. The conjunction of Mars and Venus here marks an important new alignment in our relationships, which shifts our values and our drive toward a unified collective, as well toward a greater sense friendship and freedom within relationships!
Finally, Mercury enters Aries for a lightning quick transit which will help to lift the energy of our minds and assist us in making quick decisions while rapidly moving us in the direction of our goals and ambitions.

Venus and Pluto together brings magnetic passion, intense sexual attraction and deeply karmic romantic connections, however this energy can manifest in a both positive and negative ways. Pluto intensifies Venus' attractiveness and under this energy we may find ourselves feeling almost obsessive toward the object of our affection, which under certain circumstances, can be a very dangerous thing. Venus and Pluto together have a way of pulling toward one another and yet repelling one another simultaneously, marking incredibly stormy and potentially toxic partnerships. With Mars traveling alongside here, passions will no doubt be heightened as well as urges for domination and power over another. Take that for what you will and use caution where caution is necessary.
On the positive side, Venus and Pluto energy have the potential for a deeply karmic bond as well as spiritual transformation and regeneration to occur in relationships. This Full Moon in Virgo looks to be the PERFECT follow up to the magical Pisces New Moon. The Virgo Full Moon is trine to Pluto in Capricorn which is going to give us laser focus and the ability to magnetize what we need into our lives and bring tangibility to our Pisces New Moon intentions. The Sun is conjunct Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter is within a 10 degree orb in Pisces adding its lucky influence at this moon as well. This is powerful, psychic, creative and just plain old lucky energy with these 3 outer planetary forces working together for us at the Full Moon in Virgo. Whatever intentions were seeded at the Pisces New Moon are likely going to be taking shape already and will continue to do so in ways that feel divinely meant to be.
At the time of this Full Moon there are some challenging energies as well. Mars and Venus are still conjunct in Aquarius squaring over to Uranus in Taurus. Saturn in Aquarius is squaring the North and South Nodes. We could find the areas of our lives ruled by Mars and Venus hitting a hiccup or perhaps conflicting with our goals. While the Saturn energy suggests there is still challenging work to be done.

Venus square Uranus is a brief, but tricky transit to know how to navigate as there are many potential significations for these two planets in square. It's possible that it can bring shocking breakups or separations as a result of a need for freedom that a current relationship is not able to meet. Venus in Aquarius, above all else, wants to do things differently. There's a strong need for emotional space and freedom within committed partnerships. There also needs to be a level of friendship and fun in relationship as well. If things have been feeling heavy, stagnant or disconnected in relationship, this transit could bring a bumpy ride for the next few days.
Venus square Uranus could also bring unexpected new love interests that cause some sort of shakeup in your life. It's possible it could also bring unexpected financial hiccups for some, perhaps an unexpected bill or impulsive spending spree.

However, a square shows us a challenge and so we may find ourselves really amped up and pushing too hard, even fighting for what we want and the freedom we feel we need in some area of our lives.
Mars square Uranus is known to be an explosive energy, like a volcano ready to erupt or a time bomb just ticking away. Be very mindful as you go throughout the next couple of days and find healthy ways to decompress and release your built up energy.
