November 2022 Astro-Highlights: Breaking Through to the Other Side!

November begins smack dab in the middle of eclipse season! This month is very mixed energy, with the first half of the month being a peak period of challenge for all of 2022, while the second half of the month we will feel the tension begin releasing!

The first few days of the month, while no major transits are coming exact, we will no doubt be feeling the tension building as we race toward the Total Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus! The Lunar Eclipse in Taurus really is the BIG energy this month and every other transit is occurring as a part of this greater story unfolding.

Things start popping off on the 5th of November when Venus in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus bringing abrupt change to finance and/or relationships! Followed shortly by Venus’ square to Saturn in Aquarius, increasing frustration and tension in these areas.

On the 8th the Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus will come exact conjunct unpredictable Uranus! This Lunar Eclipse is also opposite the Sun and Mercury together, on the very day of Mercury’s Cazimi. This energy is likely to be a major breakthrough for many people!

In the days following the eclipse, the Sun follows in the footsteps of Venus and Mercury, as each planet opposes Uranus and then subsequently squares Saturn, bringing illumination to these areas of life once and for all!

In the second half of the month, the inner planets officially begin breaking free of Saturn’s restrictions by moving into the expansive and hopeful sign of Sagittarius! A beautiful positive omen is when the Sun enters Sagittarius and we begin a beautiful New Moon cycle in Sagittarius! The Sagittarius New Moon is a HOPEFUL breath of fresh air as it trines its ruler Jupiter, which is now stationing direct in its other traditional domicile of Pisces! Jupiter stationing while being in a sign it rules gives it tremendous influence over us at this time and we will be feeling a MAJOR shift in our sense of optimism!

Venus opposing Uranus is a transit we’ll want to navigate with care. This is an energy all about bringing abrupt CHANGE! This is a time that can lead to disruptions or upheaval in our current relationships or to our financial status. Scorpio and Taurus are energies that can try to control or hold on to things long past their expiration. Being that oppositions are an energy of integration, this energy can bring to our awareness an urgent need for change to these areas of life. Venus square Saturn is a difficult energy because it brings the restricting and oppressive energy of Saturn into a challenging aspect with the social and cooperative energy of Venus, which is in her detriment. We are now on the precipice of a very intense Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus and it's possible many are experiencing tremendous change throughout this time that can feel quite frightening.

Venus square Saturn can result in strains in our relationships potentially due to financial hardship or even the unexpected events that occurred under the Venus opposition to Uranus. This could also be a time when we are overly critical of our partners or we may be on the receiving end of their criticism.

Venus square Saturn can feel very unmotivated and their may be a desire to slip into laziness or melancholy, however this is not the time to give up. Though challenging, if hard work is applied now and the hardships are handled with maturity, the peace and stability we need will return once more.

The Full Moon and Total Lunar Eclipse in Taurus is a period of intense challenge and shocking change! It will no doubt be life-changing for many people making this a time when we'll want to remain on our toes, and ready to pivot at a moment's notice.

The Full Moon is exactly conjunct Uranus in Taurus at 16 degrees! Not only that, but it is activating the still very close square between Saturn and Uranus. This activation is a MAJOR indication that there will be shocking disruptions and significant change coming about as a result of this energy. Saturn represents the structures of our lives, and slowly over the last couple of years we have been working to break free of outdated structures and limitations. It is with this final activation that we may find ourselves suddenly catapulted into the brand new paradigm we have been attempting to build, which brings about a whole new set of challenges. Keep in mind that with Uranus activations, there really is no way to truly be prepared and this will likely bring about circumstances we could not have expected.

The Full Moon is opposite the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Scorpio! This indicates potential disruptions to our communications as well as changes to our finances or relationships! With the activation of Venus at the Taurus Lunar eclipse and the prior Scorpio Solar eclipse, we can expect some changes to finances on some level. This may be personal, but it is likely that this will be a global signification as well. Venus is tightly square to Saturn at the time of this eclipse which indicates there may be restrictions or roadblocks when it comes to our money and potential strains upon our relationships.

Overall this Moon looks to be very challenging, and frankly, a bit difficult to truly predict. We may find ourselves desiring more expansion and growth in our relationships and wanting to level up from where we have potentially felt stuck. The good news is that Venus in the sign of Sagittarius is able to to grasp the bigger picture when it comes to any potential financial problems or relationship issues. For many, this will be a great relief.

But if we’re mindful, this could also be a time of spiritually inspired action for Mars and Neptune aspects give us the potential to be warriors of compassion.
