The 8th House of DEATH Shows Your DEEPEST FEARS!—8th House Planets

The 8th house and its sign give important information about our deepest-held traumas and fears. It shows how difficult experiences from our past cloud our judgment and unconsciously control our behavior in the present.

While the 8th house is a strong indicator of psychological health, placements in this house can also indicate physiological illness with a psychological or traumatic origin. Meaning that, where the 8th house is concerned, holding on to toxic situations from the past breeds toxicity and disease in the body.

As we know from modern research, traumatic experiences, especially in early childhood (e.g., ACE scores), directly correlate with psychiatric and physiological illness rates, patient outcomes, and all-cause mortality. While it's not the only place you'll be looking for indicators of trauma, the eighth house is significant.

In my latest video, we’ll unlock the secrets to understanding the 8th house, AND all of your planetary placements in the 8th house, so you can better understand how to empower yourself and improve your mental and physical health.

The connection between the 8th house and sex is a modern invention that doesn’t hold much weight in practice—in actuality; the 5th house has much more to do with sex and sexuality than the 8th house. The only time I’ve personally seen a connection between the 8th house is when it involves sex magick or sex work.

In traditional astrology, the 8th house (or place,” to use traditional Hellenistic terminology) is considered malefic and is also known as the Idle” place. The 8th house is associated with death because its the last place the Sun transits before its evening “death” at sunset.

When it comes to the planetary joys, no traditional planets have their joy” in the 8th house.

The eighth house is a succedent house—meaning that its associated with gains (material or otherwise), growth, and building things up. Its the signification of something moving toward its peak energy or strength, represented by the angular houses.
