There are different types of people who have varying reactions about moving. Some people tend to move around a lot as traveling nomads, while others are more likely to live close to home or where they were born.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON IS MOST LIKELY TO MOVE AROUND ALOT?

When we’re looking to make predictions on whether someone will move around a lot or not, we will first look at their astrological chart. The first place we look on a person’s astrological chart is the fourth house and sign ruler. The ruler of the fourth house cusp and the sign ruler are very important in indicating whether someone should adopt a nomadic lifestyle. This is most common amongst those with the Aquarius or Uranus on the 4th house cusp. People with this in their charts usually feel unsettled when they’re stuck in the same environment for too long. These people tend to want to move around a lot, but if they are stuck in the same place for lengths of time, a good way for them to shift the frustrated energy is to rearrange furniture and make changes to their homes often. The energy of Uranus (ruler of Aquarius) requires constant innovation and change, causing them to feel very dissatisfied with too much stability in their home environment. The best nomads are those who have Aquarius on the IC because they can do really well just picking up and leaving. Usually these moves are abrupt.

WHO IS MOST LIKELY TO MOVE TO A FOREIGN COUNTRY?

People who are most likely to move to a foreign country typically have Saggitarius on the IC or Jupiter in the fourth house. This is the indicator in their astrological chart that usually indicates their desire to move to a foreign country at least once. Most people with this in their chart experience a yearning to travel abroad, but not everyone with this placement will have the opportunity to  live in a foreign country. Additionally, this isn’t the only marker showing the potential for a long-distance or foreign move. The karmic North Node placed in the 4th house is another example of an influence that may cause someone to move to a foreign country.

WILL I EVER MOVE AWAY FROM MY HOMETOWN?

Many people will move in their lifetime, but some people are destined to stay in their hometown. Are you one of those people, or does your astrological chart predict that you’ll someday move away from your hometown. Those that are most likely to make a large move, like moving 200+ miles from where they grew up are those whose charts have the Rahu and Ketu, with Rahu as the North, and Ketu is the south node of the Moon on the 10th and 4th house axis. This Karmic placement is another distinct indicator that you’ll probably live far away from your hometown as an adult.

If you have the Rahu and Ketu in your 10th and 4th house, traditional astrology dictates that you’ll want to live 200+ miles from where you were born. Those with this type of energy are not recommended to live close to home. These individuals tend to have at least one major, fated move in their lives.

FIGHTING THE URGE TO MOVE

Another chart type that tends to hold on to their home environment until it simply becomes completely unbearable is the Scorpio on the IC. This sign will typically make a big move in order to purge and leave a difficult past behind, especially as it relates to their family, their past, their home or their immediate environment. Typically, if they go through a traumatic experience or as things get really intense and they need to change up their environment or energy, they will hold on and hold on and then they’ll just purge. Be gone bad energy!

YOU’LL MOVE AROUND WITHIN YOUR IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT

If there’s one placement that’s likely to move around a lot, but not make a crazy big move it is Gemini on the IC. Those with this placement in their astrological charts tend to feel an unsettled energy and will prefer to move around a lot. They get bored staying in the same place, but they don’t want to go too far. This can be slightly different if there are other indicators in their charts, but typically they’ll move around and stick close to their community.
