The astrology of 2026 has been super strange and pretty intense for a lot of people, and November is no exception. There’s one period in particular, between November 11th and 15th, that is highly unusual. It’s a little exciting, and it also has the potential to bring real challenge. This is where things might take an unexpected turn. You could find yourself lunging forward with all sorts of enthusiasm in a direction you never expected, only to be humbled later by the results of your actions.

A big reason I say this is the triple conjunction forming between the karmic South Node, Jupiter (the great benefic), and Mars (a malefic). Other aspects keep activating and reactivating that configuration in a very intense way, so its energy carries through most of the month. On top of that, Venus and Mercury both station direct on the exact same day, November 13th. That brings some forward momentum. But if you jump in before these planets have had time to unravel and pick up speed, it’s going to be premature.

I do think there’s a lot of potential for big, exciting new action, especially in the second half of November. We just have to be careful and discerning about how we move forward.

Below, I’m going through November in chronological order, transit by transit, and covering which signs will be impacted the most by each one (Sun, Moon, and Rising). Early November: A Little Reprieve as Venus Re-Emerges

Before we get into the dicier moments in the second and third weeks of November, we get a bit of a break from the intensity we’ve been living with. Venus and Mercury are both still retrograde, but Venus is no longer under the beams of the Sun. It becomes visible at the start of the month and re-emerges in the morning sky before sunrise, which is a more active and rebellious expression of Venus, both personally and collectively.

That’s a good thing. When Venus is invisible, it can’t really carry out its significations, and those are all very beneficial. Venus is a benefic. It’s about harmony, merging, bringing things together, love, connection, relationship, and pleasure. Venus also rules women, so when there’s challenging energy around Venus, there can be challenging energy for and around women, not only in the collective or in the media but on a personal level too.

Throughout most of October, Venus was retrograde in Scorpio, the sign of its detriment, so it wasn’t in a good position. It shifted into Libra very recently, and that’s where it stays for all of November. That’s very good news. In its home sign, Venus can do what it does best: bring people together and create balance and equilibrium in our lives and relationships. Pleasure, joy, and connection start coming back online even before Venus goes direct.

November 4th: Venus Sextile Jupiter and the Mercury Cazimi

November 4th brings two pivotal moments in the Venus and Mercury retrogrades on the same day.

Venus Sextile Jupiter

Retrograde Venus makes a harmonious sextile to Jupiter, so we have the two benefics working together. This can bring an internal growth opportunity, and potentially an external one as well.

I really feel like the benefits here come through revisiting old relationships and connections. We might reconnect with someone or something from our past in a way that brings a new opportunity, or that lets an old opportunity resurface. That doesn’t necessarily mean rekindling an old flame. It could, but it’s more likely that someone comes back into our lives and, through that connection, we can take advantage of an opportunity we thought we’d missed. Or a new opportunity comes through someone we haven’t spoken to in a long time, or someone we’d lost that deeper connection with.

Opportunities can come indirectly here, through the people we already know and love, the ones who are already really solid in our lives. Or through reconnecting with someone solid we had a good, balanced connection with in the past.

With sextiles, though, we have to recognize the opportunity and be prepared to take action on it. Some people might miss the boat. For others, this might just be a nicer day. If you’ve been getting into arguments and disputes, if relationships have been hard, if you’ve had a difficult time connecting with joy and fun and pleasure, this is a day where you might be able to reconnect with those energies.

The Mercury Cazimi at 12° Scorpio

Also on November 4th, Mercury goes cazimi at 12° Scorpio.

When Mercury is conjunct the Sun but not super exact (usually within about seven to eight degrees), that’s called combustion, and it’s seen as a negative thing. Mercury’s good qualities, like discernment, intelligence, and the ability to communicate effectively, can get burned away, and its more challenging qualities can be amplified.

So leading up to the cazimi, with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio especially, people are going to be ruminating and obsessing. Replaying things over and over in their heads. I think that’s going to create a lot of anxiety, particularly with Venus retrograde in the mix, as people replay conversations and connections with people from the past and stress out over them. It’ll also be harder to communicate your thoughts and feelings in a way other people understand, so you might feel misunderstood a lot more. You might be trying to mull over and internalize a specific problem without finding the solution through rational, logical thinking.

Then the cazimi arrives. What I’ve found is that if you’re sitting in quiet, meditating, doing something mindless, or out in a field doing a little bit of work, ideas and solutions just come to you. Communications and information also come through that can help you. There’s usually an aha moment around the Mercury cazimi.

That’s especially important with this Mercury retrograde in Scorpio. When Mercury is in Scorpio, we’re trying to get to the truth of something. We don’t want surface-level conversations or surface-level answers. We’re trying to root out something deeper that’s harder to get to. It’s also a very laser-focused energy, so for most people this retrograde will have us obsessing over one specific problem, conversation, or set of information, going down a certain rabbit hole. The cazimi breaks us out of that cycle. If we’ve been too zoomed in and only doubling down on one thing, it helps us see the bigger picture and consider what else needs to be considered. I really like this cazimi for that.

Who Benefits Most on November 4th

Venus sextile Jupiter:

  • Taurus and Libra benefit the most, since these are the Venus-ruled signs. Venus is back in its home sign and making a harmonious aspect to Jupiter. Especially if you’re a Taurus or Libra rising, because Venus is your chart ruler.
  • Anyone in a Venus-ruled annual profection year. If you work with annual profections, the transits involving the planet activated for your year are going to be way more important for you to pay attention to. That’s a little cheat code for narrowing in on which parts of these forecasts to focus on. I have a whole video on annual profections you can watch to figure out which year you’re in. [LINK]
  • Sagittarius and Pisces, the Jupiter-ruled signs, are impacted in a more positive way, since Venus is doing good things here in sextile to Jupiter.
  • Leo might feel a boost, and you might need it, because things are kind of strange for you right now (more on the triple conjunction in Leo below). I love that Venus is helping. This adds the potential for a fated opportunity that comes through an old connection and turns out very positive for you.
  • Aquarius, to a certain extent. There’s an opposition between your sign and the stellium forming in Leo, but Venus trining your Sun, Moon, or Rising, especially in the later degrees, provides a little mitigation.
  • Aries Sun, Moon, and Rising. There’s an opposition between Venus and Chiron in your sign, and this configuration can ease things up for you a bit.
  • Gemini Sun, Moon, and Rising: this is a very positive energy for you in particular.

The Mercury cazimi:

  • Gemini and Virgo, the Mercury-ruled signs, benefit the most. Your ruling planet has been debilitated, especially if you’re a Gemini or Virgo rising, and now it’s reaching a point of clarity and elevation where something comes through in a very powerful way that enhances you personally.
  • The water signs. Since Mercury is retrograding in Scorpio, this enhances things for Scorpio in a very positive way. Cancer and Pisces Sun, Moon, and Rising get really powerful insight that’s very easy to integrate and use.

November 9th: New Moon in Scorpio

The New Moon in Scorpio happens on November 9th at 16° Scorpio. That’s about 10 degrees from where Mercury will be, so there’s no close conjunction with Mercury, and Mercury is technically out of the full combustion zone by then. What we do have is a pretty strong square to Mars, which is the ruler of this new moon, since Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio. And with the new moon in Scorpio, the Moon is in its fall.

Between Mercury retrograde, Venus retrograde, and this new moon in the deep, intense energy of Scorpio, I think people are going to be very introspective. There will be a lot of strong, intense emotion beneath the surface and behind closed doors. People may be experiencing a lot of internal turmoil and have difficulty expressing it. When it does get expressed externally, I think it’ll come out very intensely.

There’s a lot of anger and resentment here, the kinds of emotions we may have been holding on to. You might want to think about creating an outlet for those feelings in the month ahead, and that could be a really strong thing to set intentions around.

People are also going to be thinking about the actions they want to take once things start moving forward. They might be taking that action from a place of feeling hurt, resentful, or even vengeful, and that’s not going to be the best possible thing. So when you set your intentions, be careful about jumping in to achieve your goals, even though that Mars square might make you want to. We have lots of retrograde energy and the Moon in its fall. If you’ve been harboring intense emotions you haven’t expressed or dealt with in a healthy way, I really feel like this could lead you to take the wrong kind of action for the wrong reasons.

This is more of a contemplative, healing new moon than one for setting solid goals and jumping into something.

Signs most impacted by the Scorpio New Moon:

  • Most intense, internally and even a little externally: the fixed signs, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius.
  • A better outlet: Cancer and Pisces. I think this will be a healing new moon for you. You’ll dig deep and feel the feels, but you’ll be able to actually do something with it: express it, let it go, forgive, and move on from something. That’s going to be really powerful for you.

November 11th–15th: The Triple Conjunction of Jupiter, Mars, and the South Node in Leo

On November 11th, the triple conjunction between the South Node, Jupiter, and Mars officially begins. You’ll already be feeling it at the start of the month, though. This has been building throughout October and into November. It’s not brand new. It’s the peak of an energy we’ve been dealing with for a while.

There have been a lot of signs and synchronicities, and a lot of bizarre, strange sensations. It feels like we’re being led in a specific direction, like opportunities are there but we can’t quite grasp them. Like something big is coming and we need to push and get some momentum going, but it’s unclear what that looks like. It’s as though we have to put our egos aside, along with the ideas we’ve built up in our own heads about what this should look like, and allow ourselves to be led or guided by something bigger than us.

November 11th is the first of three Jupiter-South Node conjunctions. I’ve covered this in detail, with forecasts for all 12 signs, in my Jupiter in Leo forecast and my forecast for the North and South Nodes moving into Aquarius and Leo. This is a pivotal moment for both of those transits.

What the South Node, Jupiter, and Mars Bring Together

The karmic South Node is about taking a talent, gift, or experience from our past lifetimes and bringing it into the present. Jupiter’s energy gives us an opportunity to unleash that talent or innate affinity and channel it into something big. With Mars involved, it’s all about having to take action.

But the South Node isn’t only about past talents and opportunities. It also indicates a humbling and an unraveling. If you’re doing something for the wrong reasons, it will be exposed. You won’t be able to do that thing the way you think you should, and it can cause a lot of problems for you.

So my caution is this. Yes, Jupiter is a benefic. Yes, it’s in its triplicity, and there’s something good going on there. But Mars is in the mix. Mars indicates separation, arguments, disputes, and aggression. It can mean doing something too hard, too fast, too much. When it combines forces with Jupiter (I’ve seen this time and time again), it can mean overdoing something and being overly aggressive, overly enthusiastic, or overly dramatic.

The Leo Shadow

That’s especially true in Leo, with the South Node bringing out the shadow energy. I use that term loosely, because it’s been overused to the point of being kind of nonsensical, but you get what I mean. Every sign has a difficult side, and one of Leo’s, as everyone is well aware, is over-dramatizing things. That’s especially likely if the person being hit hardest by this feels they aren’t getting the recognition they deserve.

There’s almost a king-on-a-throne energy here. Entitled. “I am the best, everyone should be looking at me and looking to me, I have all the answers, I should be elevated. Why am I not getting the attention, the rewards, the focus?” And that can lead to doing things just to get attention. I think we’re going to see a lot of that in the media and in our own circles.

This is a dangerous time to be the center of attention if your intentions aren’t aligned with what your soul actually wants to accomplish, or with some higher purpose. There has to be a bigger reason for what you’re doing. It’s not about attention for attention’s sake, or grabbing an opportunity because you feel entitled to it, or personal gain. It’s about engaging with an opportunity while also surrendering some part of yourself, your need for recognition, fame, and notoriety. You’re humbling yourself, because this isn’t about you. It’s about taking something very authentic and true to you and using it for something beyond you, if that makes sense.

If you’re taking an opportunity because you want to be recognized and you want the thing, that’s where it starts to unravel and fall apart. If you’re doing it because you know it’s connected to something bigger, and yes, it might bring some reward or recognition but that’s not the point, this could be a really good energy for whatever you’re moving into.

Endings, Separations, and Getting Humbled

My fear is that a lot of people will go all in and double down on something in an over-the-top, overly dramatic way, and then get humbled. “Oh, I shouldn’t have done that. I shouldn’t have gone so hard. Now I have to redo this, revisit this. This is falling apart.”

This could also be a time of taking very precise, important action to separate from something, end something, or cut cords. Mars rules sharp instruments and the principle of separation, cutting ties. Jupiter is the principle of expansion. The South Node unravels and weakens. So some of us will be taking this opportunity to let go of, surrender, or move on from something that’s holding us back and isn’t connected with our true north and our purpose. It could also show up as a very fated, karmic separation or ending, or a dispute that gets over the top and out of hand.

So yes, there’s opportunity here, but I want to drive home that this is not all good. It’s a weird mix. I think it’ll be a little all over the place, it’ll feel strange, and it’s definitely synchronistic, so whatever is going on is showing you something and is there for a reason. Something needs to happen that the universe is aligning for us. But it will be a little rough for some people. It’s not all rainbows and fated opportunities. There’s something else going on that feels a little icky. It’s like we can’t help ourselves. We have to do the thing because we need the attention, we need the pizzazz. And that’s where you get caught in a bit of a mess.

Key Dates for the Triple Conjunction

  • November 11th: Jupiter conjunct the South Node, by both mean and true node calculations, within roughly a 24-hour window. (I gravitate more toward the mean node for accurate predictions these days.)
  • November 14th: Mars conjunct the South Node, exact by both mean and true node. This is its only exact pass.
  • November 15th: Mars conjunct Jupiter. This is its only exact pass too.

Mars is already in the shadow of its upcoming retrograde when this configuration comes together. Jupiter conjunct the South Node will happen three times in total. The second pass is on February 22nd, 2027, and the third is on April 23rd, 2027. Mars will be there each time Jupiter and the South Node meet, but it will never make an exact conjunction to either of them again.

So November is the peak. This is where all the momentum happens and where something big is being initiated, something we’re being initiated into, that will play out and that we’ll have to revisit more than once through spring 2027. Whatever is going on for you this month, you’ll carry it forward. You’ll have to deal with the repercussions again in February or April, especially anything you overdid or that went a little awry. November isn’t the whole story of this triple conjunction. It’s the beginning of something that will get bigger and, I would say, more refined. We may have to deal with some of our mistakes, and we may also get the benefits of the opportunities we created or took advantage of during this time.

Why It Feels So Eclipse-y

This whole thing is going to feel pretty eclipse-y. If it feels like we’re in an eclipse during a Mercury retrograde and a Venus retrograde all at the same time, this is why. It’s not actually an eclipse, but one of the eclipse points, the South Node, is super active. That makes things so bizarre. Really crazy signs and synchronicities, crazy messages, crazy dreams, things showing up that feel odd and unusual.

The South Node always feels extra weird. The North Node is a little different. With the North Node, it feels like we have some volition, like there’s an intense inner pull toward something we’re actively doing. With the South Node, external events are happening and the universe is conspiring in a way that feels very unusual, like we’re in some sort of weird dream. So it’s going to be a weird month.

Signs Most Impacted by the Triple Conjunction

  • Leo will be hit the hardest. Lucky Leo. If you have Leo Sun, Moon, Rising, Midheaven, IC, or personal planets in Leo, especially between about 20° and 30°, you’re going to feel this very intensely. This could turn your whole life upside down in a big way, and it’s not a one-and-done story. Definitely watch the all-signs forecasts, especially the one for the Nodes shifting into Aquarius and Leo. Check out the Jupiter one too. It’s a little more hopeful and talks more about the Jupiter side of things.
  • Aquarius will also feel this the most, since it’s opposing your Sun, Moon, and Rising. Again, things could get flipped upside down, and your whole life could change in a really big way.
  • Scorpio, if you have a lot of energy in your sign, you’re already feeling things pretty intensely, and this hits you by square. The Sun will be activating this whole configuration later in the month too (more on that below). You’ll probably feel this just as intensely as Leo and Aquarius. It can bring a challenge that turns things on their head, and you’ll be plowing forward in a brand new direction with your ruling planet, Mars, involved. You’re going to get more of the weirdness.
  • Taurus, less so than those three signs. This will generate a bit more friction for you, especially if your Sun, Moon, Rising, or personal planets are in the later degrees of Taurus.
  • Sagittarius, this is a really positive energy for you, especially in the later degrees. When the South Node-Jupiter conjunction in Leo comes exact, the Moon will be in your sign making an almost perfect trine to the configuration. That’s an interesting one.
  • Aries, also positive in the later degrees, even though you have Chiron sitting there right now. This is a mitigating force, and there’s a grand trine forming, especially on the 11th. It could be a very healing energy for you and show up in a much more positive way.
  • Gemini and Libra, in the later degrees, this could be a very positive, beneficial energy for you to a lesser extent, especially because of the Venus influence in this configuration, which lightens things, softens things, and brings things together.

A lot of the synchronicities with this configuration will come through old relationships resurfacing, or through established connections with people we already love and already have a harmonious balance with. This part of the Venus retrograde, from the start of November until the 13th, is all about reflecting on the relationships that are already working. The ones we value. The ones with reciprocity, where things are balanced and even, where nobody is out to take from anybody and everything is mutually beneficial.

November 13th: Venus and Mercury Station Direct

In the middle of all of this, on November 13th, Venus and Mercury both station direct on the same day. Mercury stations at 5° Scorpio, and Venus stations at 22° Libra. If you have any planets at 5° Scorpio or 22° Libra, this could be a pivotal moment where something changes or turns around for you.

People tend to think that once Mercury goes direct, everything’s fine and it’s not weird anymore. That’s not the case. Mercury is at a standstill. It’s slow, and it won’t move very quickly even after it goes direct. It takes time before the retrograde hiccups resolve, before our plans really gain momentum, and before communication fully comes back online. With Mercury in Scorpio in particular, communication can be very direct, harsh, and abrasive, and some very passionate words might be exchanged as Mercury stations.

Venus stationing is similar. We’re still in a weird zone where Venusian energy hasn’t gained momentum yet. I’d say the Venus station is a pivotal moment where something shifts, or very literally changes direction, in an important relationship or issue you’ve been dealing with throughout this retrograde, which has been going on for many weeks now.

So while there’s all this momentum from the triple conjunction, pushing us to take advantage of something and move forward, it’s not quite ripe for going all in yet. Something isn’t fully ready or fully open to us yet.

Signs most impacted by the Venus and Mercury stations:

  • Taurus and Libra Sun, Moon, and Rising will feel this the most. This could be a pivotal moment for you personally where something really big changes or shifts direction.
  • Gemini and Virgo Sun, Moon, and Rising, especially Rising, will also feel this the most. Something comes to a head, there’s a moment of intensity, and then something changes direction or begins to open up for you.

November 15th–19th: The Sun Activates the Triple Conjunction

Before the Sun moves into Sagittarius and the full moon at the end of the month, we get a continuation of the triple conjunction energy. Between the 15th and the 19th, the Sun activates the configuration of Jupiter, the South Node, and Mars, and that causes a bit of friction and tension around all the themes we’ve already covered.

So it might be that everything I described for the 11th through the 15th doesn’t reach peak intensity for you, or doesn’t bring any complications, until this window. Right after it all comes exact, there’s this activation. The big thing happens, and then challenges and roadblocks come up that keep us from jumping in or moving forward, because there’s something we haven’t dealt with yet that needs to be taken care of.

November 22nd–24th: Sun in Sagittarius and the Full Moon in Gemini

On November 22nd, the Sun moves into Sagittarius. Happy birthday to all my Sagittarius readers! This should bring at least a little reprieve from that friction and tension. It also brings a new kind of energy, because a big full moon is building in Gemini.

At the full moon on November 24th, the Moon in Gemini opposes the Sun in Sagittarius, and also in Gemini we have Uranus, the great disruptor and the great awakener. Uranus brings things that are shocking and unexpected, things that take us for a ride we never would have anticipated because they’re so far outside our concept of what was possible. This is an energy of change and shaking things up. It can be very unsettling and disruptive, and also very exciting and exhilarating.

This culmination is about shifting something in a new direction. It might be realizing that we feel bored, stagnant, or frustrated with a certain area of life and need to make a change. Or it might highlight a change coming in from the outside, the pivotal moment where we realize things won’t stay the status quo in a particular area or circumstance.

Even though it’s out of sign, this full moon also highlights the square between Uranus and Mars that comes exact at the start of December. Something is being shown to us that we need to make a big change on, and it will become more urgent in early December. This full moon is illuminating what we need to change, and what opportunity we need to take to shake things up ourselves, so the disruption doesn’t come from the outside uninvited and unwelcome.

So if you hear new information around November 24th that makes you question what you’re doing and think about pivoting, or if you have a conversation, an idea, or an epiphany around this full moon, pay attention. It’s asking you to change something in a really big way.

This full moon also activates the minor triangle between Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, which has been in play since this summer (if not a little earlier) and continues through 2028. That’s a subtler form of change, where we’re intuiting and feeling something building and shifting slowly across multiple areas of our lives. If you want to learn more about that, watch my July forecast  and the video I did with Dan Waites, where we go into a lot of detail.

Signs most impacted by the Gemini Full Moon:

  • Biggest shakeup and disruption: the mutable signs, Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces, especially with Sun, Moon, or Rising in the early degrees. Expect the unexpected. Something shocking could come through, and you could suddenly want to change something really big in your life. The urgency of that change will only grow into the start of December.
  • Aquarius and Aries: with your Sun, Moon, or Rising in the signs of the minor triangle, this might be subtler. More of a push, like “something is shifting in my life and I need to start making subtle moves in that direction.”
  • Libra: especially in the early degrees (0° to 5°), you’ll feel this in a very positive way. Something illuminates or opens up for you that lets you make a very positive and harmonious change, probably across multiple areas of your life.

End of November: Mars Enters Virgo for an Extended Stay

We wrap up the month with Mars moving into Virgo for an extended stay. As I mentioned earlier, Mars is in the shadow of its upcoming retrograde, and right out of the gate in January 2027 we’ll have Mars stationing retrograde. That’s going to be interesting for people who want to jump straight into their New Year’s goals. I’ll cover that in my 2027 forecast, which I’ll be releasing sometime in November.

On average, Mars spends about six weeks in each sign. In Virgo it usually spends a bit longer, about 49 days, because Mars has a slightly elliptical orbit. Either way, this time around Mars will be in Virgo for roughly three full months, which is double the time it normally spends there.

That’s significant if you have a lot of planetary energy in Virgo, whether that’s your Sun, Moon, Rising, Midheaven, IC, or even your Descendant. This could be a source of ongoing conflict or friction that comes and goes over the next three months. It’s also potentially a source of motivation, and a source of setbacks, where we leap forward into something and then have to take two steps back, revisit it, and cut ties with things we lunged into prematurely. That’ll be a big theme, especially when Mars goes back into Leo, because of everything happening in Leo this month.

With Mars in Virgo, people tend to be more nitpicky. There’s a lot of criticism, both self-criticism and external criticism. People also get a lot more discerning about the actions they take. I like Mars in Virgo for that reason. It’s not about leaping forward all willy-nilly and going all in on something, which is exactly what we experienced in November. It’s about planning things out and thinking them through in a logical, rational, step-by-step, linear way.

It can also mean getting lost in the weeds and spending too much time on details, which actually keeps people from taking action. I think we’ll see a lot of that, especially during the Mars retrograde. The biggest challenge with Mars in Virgo will probably be more nagging, nitpicking, and criticism, whether you’re on the receiving end or the one dishing it out. It’s also an energy of getting irritated by small things, which is part of why people get more nitpicky.

On the positive side, it can motivate us to act once everything is laid out and lined up. It can also motivate action in service. Mars is what motivates us, and Virgo wants to be of service and useful in some way. So with Mars in Virgo, we’re motivated by the need to do something practical and useful that serves someone or something. Not just purpose in the bigger sense, but an actual practical reason that helps people in a grounded way. We’re going to see a lot more of that over the next three months.

The Takeaway for November 2026

November is going to be very intense, very synchronistic, and very strange. There’s a lot of opportunity, and also a lot of potential for challenge and endings, and we’ll have to be discerning to move forward in a positive way. I do think we’ll see a lot of momentum returning, which is a good thing, and there are some really good periods this month, especially compared to what we’ve been through this year. So November is challenging, and November is really weird, but there’s a lot of potential here too.
